My name is Dante Fusaro and I'm a sophomore at Bloomfield High School. I am 16 years young. I am in Mrs.Santos' and Ms.Pettigrew's 5th period class, which I enjoy because our class period is funny. I like to watch and play sports. I also like to hang out with my friends and family. The thing I like most this year is reading the book "The Alchemist'.

Henrik Ibsen

Henrik Johan Ibsen was born in Skien Norway on March 20th, 1828.  Henrik's family was poor and he was the oldest child of 5 siblings. At the age of 15 Ibsen stopped attending school and started to work. In 1862 Henrik was exiled from Norway and settled in Italy. Ibsen started to wright many plays. One of his most famous plays is "A Doll's House" which we are going to start reading soon. Ibsen went back to Norway in 1891. Henrik Ibsen was married to Suzannah Daae Thoresen and had one child. In 1900 Ibsen suffered from many strokes, which made him unable to write. Henrik Ibsen died on May 23, 1906 in Norway. Ibsen lived a meaningful life.
I believe "A Doll's House" will be about a family. I think this because of the poverty struck family Henrik grew up in. I think he will write about what it is like to grow up in a poor family. I believe this play will focus on a dolls house.
